Altosid Briquets - Stops Mosquitoes From Breeding and Growing (Including those that transmit West Nile Virus)

One application of Altosid briquets will stop mosquitoes from breeding in standing water for 30 days. The active ingredient, (S)-Methoprene is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that has been tested and proven to stop mosquito larvae from becoming adults. Altosid will not harm fish, waterfowl, mammals, wildlife or beneficial predatory insects.

Altosid Briquets - Simple To Use

Simply place 1 charcoal briquet to 100 square feet of water surface in standing water. Typical standing water sites are: bird baths, retention ponds, atrium areas, gutters, ornamental ponds & fountains, water gardens, pool covers, rain barrels, puddles, horse troughs and other animal drinking water receptacles, and other water-holding receptacles.

Place Altosid Briquets in the desired areas at the beginning of mosquito season and continue treatment throughout the season. Make sure to apply at the stage of larval development. Altosid Briquets has no effect on mosquitoes which have reached the pupal or adult stage prior to treatment.
