Safeguard Model #54130 Professional Series cage trap with a sliding rear door This trap measures 30"L x 11"W x 12"H. It features 1" x .5" wire mesh over the complete bottom, 3" up each side and the entire back of the trap. The pan has been given a bevel on the backside for added strength, and a sliding rear door has been made standard for ease of baiting and release of captured animals. This trap is excellent for raccoon, armadillo, feral cats, woodchuck (groundhog), and similarly sized animals.

TIP: Bait placement should be all the way to the rear of the trap, beyond the triggering pan. DO NOT smear or place directly on the triggering pan. You want the animal to pass over and onto the triggering pan with their focus and attention on the bait.
