For the control and prevention of listed insect pests such as drain flies, fruit flies, phorid flies, fungus gnats, ants (except carpenter, fire, harvester and pharaoh ants), beetles (except wood destroying beetles) and cockroaches (by direct contact). 

As a ready-to-use foam, Nibor-D + IGR can be applied quickly and easily to many of the problem areas where small flies and cockroaches live. It is designed for a fast, easy application that ensures deep and even penetration to any void, drain, crack and crevice and is also suitable for non-food surfaces. Each 21 oz. can has an up-down valve for 360º application, as well as two interchangeable actuators. The full cone spray actuator is used for regular spray applications in areas of commercial kitchens where grime builds-up including under equipment, around equipment table legs and into waste containers after they are emptied. The drain actuator also includes a 17” detachable semi-rigid hose for reaching past p-traps (if present) and for foaming deep into drains and pipes, as well as into other hard-to-reach areas where pests live and breed.

Cockroaches and small flies often use drain systems to travel through buildings. The drains represent a perfect place for them to lay eggs and provide a haven for small flies and roaches to develop into adults with plenty of food, breeding material and a moist protective environment. Use Nibor-D + IGR foaming aerosol to fill these voids and kill pests by contact. The residual will help kill and prevent small flies while the IGR works to control the development of future generations in cockroaches and small flies.

Nibor-D + IGR’s formulation is a combination of 5.000% Nibor-D (disodium octaborate tetrahydrate) and 0.018% insect growth regulator (pyriproxyfen). The formulation is designed to ensure that all life cycle stages are affected—including eggs, larvae, nymphs, pupae and adults—and that target pests are unable to survive or reproduce. Its unique dual-action formula provides a wide range of benefits including rapid control, reproductive and developmental inhibition, as well as commercial and residential infestation prevention. These results are achieved through multiple methods such as:

Direct Contact: As the foaming insecticide is applied, it delivers an effective dose of the DOT (disodium octaborate tetrahydrate) active ingredient to live insects, resulting in rapid kill.

Residual Deposits: Because Nibor-D is highly soluble, the formulation penetrates organic material, scum, filth and biofilm in order to make the breeding material uninhabitable. This process helps to eliminate adults and prevents larval development.

Reproductive and Developmental Control: Pyriproxyfen, a juvenile hormone mimic, goes to work immediately to reduce the chances of a second generation by disrupting the reproductive process which can result in inhibition of the molting process, reduced egg production and hatch rates and, ultimately, sterile adults.

Infestation Prevention: Applying this product in areas conducive to breeding small flies can help to prevent infestation from establishing. It also helps prevent the spread of infestations throughout commercial kitchens and restaurants, across different areas of a building or into other units in high rises, as well as in commercial facilities, kennels, food processing plants or other areas where small flies are a continuous problem.
